An integrated door entry system lets you see and speak to visitors at a gate or entrance door before deciding whether to grant access.
Calls can be answered from wall-mounted or portable touchscreens around the property, as well as from compatible phones and tablets. This makes it easy to respond whether you are in another room or away from home.
The Control4 DS2 is available as a simple single-call-button station or with an integrated keypad, allowing authorised users to enter using a PIN number.
A compatible tag reader can recognise authorised tags and open a gate without the user having to press any buttons.
Multi-call-button models can route visitors to different residences or areas within a building—for example individual flats, the main house or a housekeeper's accommodation.
Control4 Chime provides a more discreet video entry solution for entrances where a single call button is all that is required.
Its integrated camera and two-way audio allow visitors to call the home, with the call answered from Control4 touchscreens or compatible phones and tablets.
The compact design makes Chime particularly well suited to residential entrance doors where keypad, tag or multi-residence access is not needed.
Gates can be opened remotely after you have seen and spoken to the visitor. This is useful for expected guests, deliveries and service access when you are away from the property.
For security reasons, we do not recommend remotely unlocking a main entrance door when nobody is present. We will design the permissions and controls around the property, its occupants and the level of access required.
